Solar in Aspendale GardensThe right size beats the biggest size
Aspendale Gardens was laid out mostly in the late 1980s and 1990s, on flat land beside the Edithvale Wetlands, with Waterways next door. The houses reflect it: brick veneer family homes, many of them double storey, with concrete tile hip roofs broken into several faces and a double garage at the front. It is a long way from the salt of the foreshore, so the design questions here are about the roof and the household, not the weather.
Our written-up job in the suburb shows the approach. The owner did not need the largest system the roof would hold, he needed one that matched what the house used. We fitted 24 Jinko Tiger Neo panels across the tile roof for 11.4kW, a Sigen Hybrid 10.0 SP single-phase inverter, and two SigenStor battery modules in the garage, 16.12kWh, bollard-protected, with the Solar Victoria rebate handled for him.
That is how we quote every house here. We look at your bills and when you use power, ask what is changing, such as gas heating coming out or a car going in, and size the panels and the battery for that. A bigger system is easy to sell. One that pays its way is what we aim for. Other services in the suburb are on our Aspendale Gardens page.
