Tim founded Powerband and still runs it. He holds an A-Grade Electrical Licence, an ARC refrigerant handling licence (AU 065299), Mechanical Plumbing registration with the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC 132072), Registered Electrical Contractors (REC 32300), and Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA S5450012) accreditation as a solar and battery electrician. Twenty-plus years in the trade across electrical, solar, batteries and heating and cooling, and the person most likely to tell you a smaller system is the right one.

Maddison Rowe

General Manager

Maddi has been an integral part of Powerband Electrical since day one, joining Tim as the company’s first employee and helping build the business into what it is today. As General Manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations, supports the team, and ensures every part of the business runs efficiently. Known for keeping the ship tight, Maddi plays a key role in maintaining high standards across customer service, project delivery, and team coordination. Her dedication, leadership, and deep understanding of the business make her an essential part of the Powerband Electrical team.

Dayle Grigor

Field Operations Manager

Dayle has grown with Powerband Electrical, working his way up from being on the tools every day to overseeing projects, supporting the team, and helping manage day-to-day operations. With a strong electrical background and hands-on experience, he understands what it takes to deliver quality work and keep jobs running smoothly. Dayle works closely with customers, conducts site visits, and helps coordinate projects between the field and office teams to ensure a great customer experience from start to finish.Outside of work, Dayle is a passionate motocross rider, competing on weekends with the support of Powerband Electrical as a proud sponsor. His drive, leadership, and practical approach make him a valued part of the Powerband team.

Trent Steely

Sales Manager

Trent brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and customer expertise to the Powerband Electrical team. As an experienced Solar installer with HVAC training before moving into sales, he understands energy solutions from both a trades and customer perspective. With more than seven years of experience in the solar and battery industry, Trent has helped thousands of homeowners find the right solar and battery solution to reduce energy costs and increase energy independence. Known around the team as the “Solar and Battery King,” Trent is passionate about making complex energy solutions easy to understand and ensuring every customer gets the best system for their home and long-term goals..

Alison Rowe

Office Coordinator

Alison is the backbone of the Powerband Electrical office, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring every customer has a seamless experience from start to finish. Before joining Powerband, Alison spent over 20 years working in government roles, developing exceptional organisational, communication, and customer service skills. She manages scheduling, coordinates jobs, and is often the friendly voice customers speak with when arranging appointments or seeking updates. Alison takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and making sure every project runs efficiently for both clients and the team.

Matt Loiza

Electrician, Solar and Battery Installer

Matt is a highly skilled electrician with extensive experience in solar and battery installations, helping homeowners make the switch to smarter, more energy-efficient homes. He plays a key role in delivering projects on site, managing jobs, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standard. Always looking to expand his expertise, Matt is currently completing his refrigeration qualifications to further strengthen his knowledge across heating, cooling, and energy solutions. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality make him a valued member of the Powerband Electrical team.

Liam Burns

Field Supervisor, Electrician

Liam is a skilled electrician with extensive experience in solar, battery storage, and residential electrical work. As a Team Leader at Powerband Electrical, he helps oversee projects on site while mentoring apprentices and supporting the wider team. Liam has a strong passion for heating and cooling solutions and is known for his problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality results for customers. Whether it’s a solar installation, battery system, air conditioning project, or general electrical work, Liam takes pride in getting the job done right and ensuring every customer has a great experience.

Alisha McCann

Media and Client Relations

Alisha is the creative force behind Powerband Electrical’s social media presence and customer engagement. Before joining the team, she worked as a nurse, bringing with her a strong background in communication, care, and building genuine relationships with people. Alisha manages social media content, creates videos, coordinates team events, and works closely with customers to ensure they have a positive experience with Powerband. Her ability to connect with people, tell the Powerband story, and showcase the team culture helps bring the business to life both online and off.

We have just had a Braemer Dominator reverse cycle ducted system installed by the Powerband Electrical team to replace our gas-fired system. We were very happy with the whole process, from the sales/design discussions with Dayle to the installation by the team led by Julian and including Logan and Darren. Using the existing ducting had its challenges but the team overcame them well. Julian set up the AirTouch5 control system & zoning with us and with a sudden cold snap arriving it has proven simple to use to create a comfortable environment. Had the Powerband team electrify out whole house. Updated the heating / cooling with split systems, replace gas cooktop & hot water and put solar on with a 30kw battery. No gas bill, solar is producing more energy than we consume. These days we barely even have the supply charge. As part of it, they put the package together of what we wanted and needed to future proof our house and showed us several options for paying for it, in the end we opted for a 5-year interest free loan. Looking at our numbers, most of the loan will be paid off from the savings from our gas and electricity savings. All the work and upgrades done and barely any out of pocket cost, nice.... The team were great - worked in with timing for the jobs when it worked for us. The boys on site were all great, friendly, polite and professional. Did the job well and packed up (and cleaned up) well. Happy to recommend Powerband to anyone wanting to electrify their house in a cost-effective way.
