Rebates and STCs come off the top, the federal battery discount takes around 30 percent off the battery, and Solar Victoria offers an interest-free loan on the panels and inverters for eligible households. We give you a fixed after-rebate figure at the site inspection, not a range.
We size to your daytime usage and, if you are going all-electric, to the new load from heat pumps, induction and EV charging. A 6.6kW system suits a lot of Melbourne homes, but a house with an EV and a heat pump hot water unit often justifies more. The site inspection settles it.
