Solar in Mount WaverleyA hill, a lot of trees and older roofs
Mount Waverley earns its name. Plenty of streets climb and fall, so two houses a few doors apart can face the sun very differently, and the mature trees that make the suburb pleasant to walk through also throw long shadows across roofs in winter. The housing is older than much of Monash too: postwar brick veneer and some weatherboard near the village and the station, then 1970s and 80s brick veneer further out.
That makes shade the first thing we look at. A face that is clear in December can lose hours in June to a neighbour gum or the house uphill, and we would rather leave it off the design than sell you panels that underperform. Older tile roofs get a close look as well, and if a roof needs attention before panels go on, you hear about it before the quote, not after.
Mount Waverley is about 50 minutes from our depot in Somerville. We service it with our own crews, not subcontractors, and the same fixed quotes we give closer to home. The solar design is one part of a bigger picture, alongside the electrical work we do in Mount Waverley.
