Tesla Wall Connector
Up to 7kW on single-phase or 11kW on three-phase, with scheduling in its app. A clean option on the wall of a double garage, and the obvious one if the car is a Tesla.
- 7kW or 11kW
- App scheduling
- Own protected circuit
Big roofs, and on many of them panels already. We fit a Tesla, Sigenergy or GoodWe charger on its own protected circuit and set it to use your solar first, with off-peak scheduling for the rest. Our own A-Grade electricians, 12 minutes away in Somerville.
EV chargers Mount Eliza homes need are not always a two-metre job. The houses tend to be larger, a lot of them are two-storey, and the switchboard is not always beside where the car parks. On some properties the board is at one end of the house and the garage at the other, so the first thing we work out is the cable route, and whether it goes through the roof space, under the floor or neatly along the outside.
The second thing is the supply. A single-phase home gets about 7kW on a 32A circuit, which is roughly 40km of range for every hour plugged in. If the house has three-phase, 11kW or up to 22kW is possible, depending on what the car can accept. We check the board and the main supply before quoting and put any upgrade in the fixed price.
What sets Mount Eliza apart is the roof. Large roofs, and in many cases panels already on them, mean the car can often run on daytime surplus, and a charger told to prefer solar uses power that would otherwise be exported for a few cents. Near the water we keep outdoor chargers out of the weather where we can. It all goes in alongside our other work in Mount Eliza.
Three charger ranges, plus the details that matter on a bigger Mount Eliza property.
Up to 7kW on single-phase or 11kW on three-phase, with scheduling in its app. A clean option on the wall of a double garage, and the obvious one if the car is a Tesla.
The Sigen EV AC charger runs up to 22kW on three-phase. If you are adding a Sigenergy battery to the panels you have, or replacing an older system, the SigenStor EV DC module can also work inside that Sigenergy system.
Offered at 7kW, 11kW or 22kW so it can be matched to the supply, and a good partner for a GoodWe inverter and battery.
Where the garage is a long way from the switchboard, the cable is sized for the distance and routed out of sight. If the board is old or full, the upgrade is in the quote rather than added on the day.
The full range is on our products page.
Up to 7kW on single-phase or 11kW on three-phase, on its own protected circuit from the switchboard.
The Sigen EV AC charger, up to 22kW, and the SigenStor EV DC module, both run from the same app as a Sigenergy battery.
Rated IP66 for carports and driveways, in 7kW, 11kW and 22kW versions to suit single or three-phase supply.
Pair the charger with solar and a battery and set it to use surplus solar first, then off-peak power.
None of these is in Mount Eliza itself. They are next door in Frankston South and a short drive inland in Somerville and Langwarrin.
A double-storey with a tin and Klip-Lok roof. Nineteen all-black Jinko Tiger Neo III panels across three roof planes, a Sigen Hybrid inverter and SigenStor 27.12kWh on a new concrete pad beside the switchboard, and an EV charger. The installer changed the panel layout after measuring the roof, leaving room to add panels later.
Thirty Jinko Tiger Neo III panels, a three-phase Sigen hybrid inverter, five SigenStor modules for 45kWh, and a Sigen EV charger, start to finish in one day.
A busy family home where the solar, a 45.2kWh Sigenergy battery behind an upgraded switchboard in the garage, a 270L iStore heat pump and an EV charger were designed as one system.
A standard install is typically about half a day. A long cable run adds time, and the quote says so.
We find the switchboard, measure the run to where the car parks, and pick a path for the cable that stays out of sight.
Single or three-phase, spare capacity and any upgrade, all settled before the price is written.
A dedicated, protected circuit to a charger mounted at the right height for the charge port.
Wi-Fi connected, solar charging switched on and the off-peak window programmed before we leave.
Issued for the new circuit, with a test charge if the car is home.
Home EV chargers have no rebate in Victoria. The battery and any new panels do, and we apply those on the quote.
Adding a battery so the car can charge from stored solar at night? The Cheaper Home Batteries discount is around 30 percent off an approved battery, with no income test.
There is no Victorian rebate on the charger and we do not process one, so it is quoted at one fixed price.
For eligible owner-occupiers, the Solar Victoria rebate and interest-free loan apply to panels and inverters, and STCs come off eligible systems. See our Mount Eliza solar and battery page.
A charger is a small job. Getting it to work with your roof is where the value is.
Our depot is in Somerville, so a site visit or a follow-up is a short trip.
Panels, batteries and chargers are all our work, so the charger is set to use your surplus properly.
Cable sized for the distance and routed out of sight, not stapled across a garage ceiling.
A-Grade licence REC 32300. Nobody on the job is a subcontractor.

The whole experience of working with Powerband has been fantastic. From the get go they were helpful with the design, requirements and answering all the questions we had about the install. We couldn't be happier with choosing them for the job. Special thanks to Bailey and the team for getting the entire installation done in one day it was a huge job so for it to be done and to such a high standard is much appreciated Thanks everyone at Powerband for all you've donePosted on Google![]()

We have just had a Braemer Dominator reverse cycle ducted system installed by the Powerband Electrical team to replace our gas-fired system. We were very happy with the whole process, from the sales/design discussions with Dayle to the installation by the team led by Julian and including Logan and Darren. Using the existing ducting had its challenges but the team overcame them well. Julian set up the AirTouch5 control system & zoning with us and with a sudden cold snap arriving it has proven simple to use to create a comfortable environment. In fact we are already finding it far more effective system than the considerably larger gas unit and a more uniform heat with less draughts. Thanks to the Powerband team. Petris and his electrical team did 2 inverter airconditioner installs as part of our whole solar system install. Great workers, good thinkers who could sort out a couple of small issues in short order and wonderful people to have around our house. Organised and professional. Highly recommend Powerband.Posted on Google![]()

Had the Powerband team electrify out whole house. Updated the heating / cooling with split systems, replace gas cooktop & hot water and put solar on with a 30kw battery. No gas bill, solar is producing more energy than we consume. These days we barely even have the supply charge. As part of it, they put the package together of what we wanted and needed to future proof our house and showed us several options for paying for it, in the end we opted for a 5-year interest free loan. Looking at our numbers, most of the loan will be paid off from the savings from our gas and electricity savings. All the work and upgrades done and barely any out of pocket cost, nice.... The team were great - worked in with timing for the jobs when it worked for us. The boys on site were all great, friendly, polite and professional. Did the job well and packed up (and cleaned up) well. Happy to recommend Powerband to anyone wanting to electrify their house in a cost-effective way.Posted on Google![]()

Usually, yes. The chargers we fit can prefer surplus solar. How well that works depends on your inverter, which we check at the visit. If you are adding a battery, it is worth deciding on the charger at the same time.
No, it just means a longer run. The cable is sized for the distance and routed out of sight, and the extra time is in the quote.
Single-phase at about 7kW on a 32A circuit adds roughly 40km per hour. Three-phase at 11kW or 22kW is faster if the car can accept it.
It depends on the board and what else the house runs. We check before quoting, and any upgrade is included in the fixed price.
Yes. Outdoors we choose a position out of the weather where we can, which matters closer to the water.
No. EV chargers Mount Eliza owners install carry no Victorian rebate. Solar panels and batteries have their own incentives.
We look at the board, the run and the roof, then send one written price for the charger, circuit and setup.
