MoorooducMoorooduc, from the switchboard up
Moorooduc is Peninsula hinterland, 7 km and about 11 minutes from Somerville, and most of it has never had mains gas. Acreage, sheds, bottled gas for cooking if anything, often three-phase supply. Electrification here is not about getting off gas, it is about solar and batteries big enough to run the property, heat pump hot water and EV charging that uses what the roof makes.
Most Moorooduc properties skip the gas conversation entirely and go straight to the question that matters: how much solar and battery does this place need to run itself. We size for the real load, including sheds and pumps, and we configure backup circuits properly because power outages are a fact of life out here.
Moorooduc is regular territory for our crews, and a site inspection there is usually within the week. We design every job as one system, so the solar is sized for the heat pump it will run and the switchboard is checked before the EV charger is quoted.
