Estate homes in Cranbourne East usually come with a garage, a newer switchboard and a roof ready for solar. We fit Tesla, Sigenergy and GoodWe chargers on their own circuit, confirm single or three-phase first, and set the charger to use your solar before we leave.
Most of Cranbourne East has been built since the mid 2000s, and that makes it one of the more straightforward suburbs for home charging. Estate homes here, single and double storey, usually have an attached garage, the switchboard is often on or near a garage wall, and the wiring is modern. On many of these jobs the cable run from the board to the charger is only a few metres, which is a big part of why a standard install is typically about half a day.
Newer does not mean we skip the checks. Every charger gets its own dedicated, protected circuit, and we look at the switchboard before quoting, with any upgrade included in the fixed price. We also confirm whether the home is single or three-phase. Single-phase gives about 7kW on a 32A circuit, roughly 40km of range per hour of charging. Three-phase opens up 11kW, or up to 22kW where the car can take it, which helps a household with two EVs or a long daily drive.
The newest streets were built without a gas connection, so many of those homes are all electric from day one and are adding solar and a battery at the same time as the charger. We design those together, so the charger soaks up surplus solar during the day and schedules to off-peak at night. See the rest of our work in Cranbourne East.

Up to 7kW on single-phase or 11kW on three-phase. A clean garage-wall unit for a home with one EV and an overnight routine.
Up to 22kW on three-phase where the car supports it. Pairs with a Sigenergy solar and battery system, and inside a Sigenergy system the SigenStor EV DC module is another option.
Comes in 7kW, 11kW or 22kW and suits a GoodWe inverter. It can go on a driveway column where the car parks outside, as on our job next door in Cranbourne West.
For all-electric homes in the newest streets, the charger, panels and battery go in as one design, so the car charges from the roof by day and off-peak by night.
The full range is on our products page.
Up to 7kW on single-phase or 11kW on three-phase, on its own protected circuit from the switchboard.
The Sigen EV AC charger, up to 22kW, and the SigenStor EV DC module, both run from the same app as a Sigenergy battery.
Rated IP66 for carports and driveways, in 7kW, 11kW and 22kW versions to suit single or three-phase supply.
Pair the charger with solar and a battery and set it to use surplus solar first, then off-peak power.

A new double-storey build in a new estate next door in Clyde North got 40 Jinko Tiger Neo III panels on a tin roof, a Sigenergy system with a 27kWh battery on the garage wall and a 22kW three-phase charger, installed as part of the build handover.
In Cranbourne West, 28 Jinko Tiger Neo III panels, a GoodWe inverter and three GoodWe battery modules, with a 7kW GoodWe charger on the driveway column. A disconnected solar hot water panel was cleared away to make room.
A double-storey, three-phase home in Cranbourne South: 14 Jinko Tiger Neo III panels, a GoodWe inverter, 16.64kWh of storage behind bollards in the garage and a 22kW charger. The main switchboard was upgraded.
Most garage installs here take about half a day once the quote is signed.

The whole experience of working with Powerband has been fantastic. From the get go they were helpful with the design, requirements and answering all the questions we had about the install. We couldn't be happier with choosing them for the job. Special thanks to Bailey and the team for getting the entire installation done in one day it was a huge job so for it to be done and to such a high standard is much appreciated Thanks everyone at Powerband for all you've donePosted on Google![]()

We have just had a Braemer Dominator reverse cycle ducted system installed by the Powerband Electrical team to replace our gas-fired system. We were very happy with the whole process, from the sales/design discussions with Dayle to the installation by the team led by Julian and including Logan and Darren. Using the existing ducting had its challenges but the team overcame them well. Julian set up the AirTouch5 control system & zoning with us and with a sudden cold snap arriving it has proven simple to use to create a comfortable environment. In fact we are already finding it far more effective system than the considerably larger gas unit and a more uniform heat with less draughts. Thanks to the Powerband team. Petris and his electrical team did 2 inverter airconditioner installs as part of our whole solar system install. Great workers, good thinkers who could sort out a couple of small issues in short order and wonderful people to have around our house. Organised and professional. Highly recommend Powerband.Posted on Google![]()

Had the Powerband team electrify out whole house. Updated the heating / cooling with split systems, replace gas cooktop & hot water and put solar on with a 30kw battery. No gas bill, solar is producing more energy than we consume. These days we barely even have the supply charge. As part of it, they put the package together of what we wanted and needed to future proof our house and showed us several options for paying for it, in the end we opted for a 5-year interest free loan. Looking at our numbers, most of the loan will be paid off from the savings from our gas and electricity savings. All the work and upgrades done and barely any out of pocket cost, nice.... The team were great - worked in with timing for the jobs when it worked for us. The boys on site were all great, friendly, polite and professional. Did the job well and packed up (and cleaned up) well. Happy to recommend Powerband to anyone wanting to electrify their house in a cost-effective way.Posted on Google![]()

Powerband Electrical are always great to work with. Reliable, professional, and easy to coordinate with on jobs. Their team communicates well and turns up when they say they will. Highly recommend.
Anything else, call 0466 355 441. An electrician will answer.
Often not in newer estate homes, but we always check before quoting. If the board needs work it is included in the fixed price.
It varies from home to home, so we confirm it at the site visit. Single-phase gives about 7kW; three-phase allows 11kW, or up to 22kW where the car accepts it.
Roughly 40km for every hour of charging on a 32A single-phase circuit. Overnight that covers most daily driving.
Yes. Our Clyde North job had solar, a battery and a 22kW charger installed as part of the build handover, ready before the owner moved in.
No. There is no Victorian or federal rebate on home EV chargers, and we do not process one.
Yes. We set it to prefer surplus solar and to schedule into your off-peak window, all configured on your Wi-Fi before we leave.
We check the board, the supply and where you park, then send one written price. No obligation.
