Taylors LakesTaylors Lakes, from the switchboard up
Taylors Lakes is 1980s and 90s brick veneer, many of them larger double-storey homes, built around the lakes and Watergardens. Most have zoned ducted gas and gas hot water that are now 25 to 35 years old, and roofs with room for a good-sized solar array.
Because Taylors Lakes is on mains gas and inside the VEU area, the usual order of works is heating and hot water first for the rebates and the running-cost drop, then solar and a battery sized to the new electric load, then the cooktop, then the gas meter abolished. The west also runs hotter in summer than the bay and eastern suburbs, so the reverse cycle system that replaces the gas heater earns its keep twice a year.
Site inspections in Taylors Lakes are free, the quote is fixed with every rebate already applied, and the same in-house crew does the electrical, refrigeration and plumbing. If you are weighing up where to start, our home electrification page walks through the order, or call and we will tell you straight for your house.
