Caroline SpringsOff gas in Caroline Springs, one step at a time
Caroline Springs is a 2000s master-planned suburb around Lake Caroline, mostly large brick veneer homes, many double storey, with zoned ducted gas and gas hot water. Roofs are big and unshaded, and a lot of homes have a small early solar system that is now undersized.
Because Caroline Springs is inside the VEU area and most homes here were connected to gas, the usual order is solar and a battery sized properly, then reverse cycle and a heat pump to replace the gas heating and hot water, then induction, then the gas meter abolished. Flat, unshaded western roofs make the solar side of that especially good value.
Everything on this page is done by Powerband employees, not subcontractors, and quoted as a fixed after-rebate price after a free site inspection.
