One licensed crew for solar, batteries, heating and cooling, hot water, induction and EV charging for Officer, VIC 3809. Free site inspections, fixed quotes, every rebate lodged for you.
Most of Officer's housing is estate-built since the mid 2000s, in the Cardinia Shire corridor about 30 minutes from Somerville. Good roofs, modern wiring and, in the newest streets, no gas connection to begin with. That makes Officer a solar, battery and EV suburb first, with heat pumps and induction for the earlier estates that were plumbed for gas.
Because Officer is on mains gas and inside the VEU area, the typical order of works is heating and hot water first for the rebates and the running-cost drop, then solar and a battery sized to the new electric load, then the cooktop, then the gas meter abolished. We plan the whole sequence at the first inspection so nothing has to be redone.
We have been working in Officer and around Officer South, Beaconsfield and Pakenham for years. Site inspections are free, the quote is fixed with every rebate already applied, and the same in-house crew does the electrical, refrigeration and plumbing. If you are weighing up where to start, our home electrification page walks through the order, or call and we will tell you straight for your house.
For Officer's newer homes the order flips: solar, battery and EV charging first, heat pumps and induction for the earlier estates still on gas.
New Officer homes have good roofs and modern switchboards, and a lot of them were sold with a small solar system that is now undersized for an EV and a heat pump. We size properly the first time, or upgrade what is there, and pair it with a Sigenergy or Tesla battery so the evening peak is covered.
Solar & Battery across MelbourneEV chargers are one of the most common jobs we do in Officer: modern boards, short cable runs, often a pre-wired garage. Charger supplied and installed, solar mode configured, Certificate of Electrical Safety issued.
EV Chargers across MelbourneFor builders working in Officer: fit-out, pre-wiring and the all-electric services package from one licensed contractor. Fixed per-lot pricing, compliance certificates per lot, crews that scale with the program.
Builders across MelbourneReplacing a 20-plus-year-old ducted gas heater with ducted reverse cycle on new R1.5 insulated ducts is the job we do most in Officer. The house gets cooling for the first time, the gas bill drops and the VEU discount comes off the install. Where the ducts cannot be replaced, a Braemar Dominator keeps them and controls the airflow, and where ducted is not practical, Mitsubishi Electric or Hisense split systems cover the living areas and bedrooms.
Heating & Cooling across MelbourneMost Officer homes still have a gas storage tank, and when it fails it is usually replaced like for like without anyone asking the question. The better answer is a heat pump from Reclaim, iStore or Emerald, installed in a day by our plumber and electrician together, with VEU and STCs both applied. About a quarter of the energy, and normally the fastest-paying step off gas.
Hot Water Systems across MelbourneA full Officer electrification is usually heating first, hot water second, then solar and battery sized to the new load, then the cooktop, then the gas meter abolished. Designed once at the first inspection, staged over as many visits as suits you, and every step attracts its own rebates.
Home Electrification across MelbourneThe induction swap is the smallest job on this page and the one that finally lets a Officer home cancel the gas account. Dedicated 32A circuit, cooktop supplied or yours installed, gas capped by our plumber.
Induction Cooktops across MelbourneFor landlords and property managers in Officer: mandatory electrical safety checks, compliance upgrades, pre-sale inspections and gas-to-electric appliance replacements, reported per property.
Real Estate across MelbourneWe work in Officer regularly enough that most of the crew know the streets and the houses.

Yes. Officer is inside the VEU area, so heat pump hot water and reverse cycle heating and cooling both attract discounts, with the largest when you are replacing gas. We apply them on the quote.
Usually the ducted heater or the hot water unit, whichever is older. Both carry the largest running costs and the largest VEU discounts, and both are one-visit jobs.
Usually within the week, often sooner. Our depot is in Somerville, about 30 minutes from Officer.
Yes. Sigenergy, Tesla Powerwall and Sungrow, sized to your evening load, with backup circuits configured. The Solar Victoria rebate and loan for solar panels and inverters, and the federal battery discount, are applied on the quote.
All of them. Officer South, Beaconsfield and Pakenham and the rest of the South East and Casey area, and across Melbourne. See the locations page for the full list.
Tell us what you are thinking about. We will book a free site inspection and send a written quote with rebates applied. No obligation.
