MaribyrnongWhat we see in Maribyrnong homes
Maribyrnong is newer than most of the inner west. Along the river and around Highpoint it is 2000s and 2010s townhouses and apartments, including the Edgewater estate, while the streets up the hill towards Ascot Vale are postwar brick and weatherboard homes on full blocks.
Because Maribyrnong is on mains gas and inside the VEU area, the usual order of works is heating and hot water first for the rebates and the running-cost drop, then solar and a battery sized to the new electric load, then the cooktop, then the gas meter abolished. The west also runs hotter in summer than the bay and eastern suburbs, so the reverse cycle system that replaces the gas heater earns its keep twice a year.
Everything on this page is done by Powerband employees, not subcontractors, and quoted as a fixed after-rebate price after a free site inspection. For the full picture of how we stage a house off gas, see our home electrification page; for Maribyrnong specifics, the fastest answer is a phone call.
