In many Botanic Ridge homes, yes. On most jobs we replace the old gas ducts with new R1.5 insulated ducts sized to the new reverse cycle unit. Where the ducts cannot be replaced, often in double-storey homes, we fit a Braemar Dominator, which keeps the existing ducts and controls the airflow through them.
