Lang LangWhat we see in Lang Lang homes
Most of Lang Lang's housing is estate-built since the mid 2000s, in the Cardinia Shire corridor about 40 minutes from Somerville. Good roofs, modern wiring and, in the newest streets, no gas connection to begin with. That makes Lang Lang a solar, battery and EV suburb first, with heat pumps and induction for the earlier estates that were plumbed for gas.
With no mains gas to remove, the Lang Lang plan is about generation and storage: a solar array sized for the property, a battery big enough for the evening and for outages, heat pump hot water timed to the solar, and an EV charger where the cars are. Solar Victoria rebates and loans and the federal battery discount all apply, and three-phase supply where it exists opens up larger systems.
Everything on this page is done by Powerband employees, not subcontractors, and quoted as a fixed after-rebate price after a free site inspection. For the full picture of how we stage a house off gas, see home electrification; for Lang Lang specifics, the fastest answer is a phone call.
