The gas heating swapOne unit, same ducts, heating and cooling
Most Melbourne homes built before 2010 heat with ducted gas and cool with nothing, or with a split in the lounge. A ducted reverse cycle system replaces the gas heater in the same spot, connects to the ducts you already have, and does both jobs for around a third of the running cost of gas heating. Units like the Braemar Dominator are designed specifically for this swap.
Powerband installs ducted, multi-head and split systems from Braemar, Mitsubishi Electric, Hisense, Panasonic and Haier, with AirTouch zoning where it makes sense. Refrigeration work is done by our ARC-authorised technicians and the electrical by our own A-Grade electricians, the same crew that does your solar and heat pump hot water if you are taking the whole house off gas.
