Julie took the gas ducted out and put comfort in its place.

Rather than being sold a solution, Julie was given the information to make her own decision and chose to electrify the lot.

Julie wanted her Belgrave South home off gas. Powerband Electrical decommissioned the gas ducted system, installed a 16 kW Mitsubishi Electric reverse cycle ducted unit on a new concrete pad at the side of the house, and ran twelve vents through the home including four 600 mm linear diffusers. The old electric hot water came out and a new iStore heat pump went onto the western wall by the bathroom. Solar and battery were already part of the same plan and the heating and hot water rebates were handled by Powerband from start to finish.
